When I was in high school, wearing eyeglasses was the “in” thing.  Call us a weird generation but wearing braces on your teeth was also considered fashionable.  Of course, my mom didn’t want to buy eyeglasses for me because nothing was wrong with my eyes.  I had the perfect 20/20 vision.  What my mom didn’t understand was I wanted to be one of the cool kids in school who wore eyeglasses.  That I didn’t need to have blurry eye vision to wear a pair of cool glasses.  But we could make ends meet and had to buy only the essentials for the family.  We didn’t have ZenniOptical.com back then.  We didn’t have affordable eyeglasses within our reach.  Imagine if Zenni Optical were available during my high school days, I would have been one of the popular kids in school.  One that everyone envied and looked up to.  What if that were the case?  I could have married the cutest guy in class.  I could have been the valedictorian.  I would be living a different life.  I don’t know if it would be a better life but I’m sure it would be different.  There are many could haves and would haves.  Anyway, for all the moms out there who need to buy eyeglasses for their kids without breaking the bank, go to Zenni Optical.  You’ll never know, your child might be the next president of the United States of America.

I’ve started to fix the place a bit.  I have some of the books in their proper places and the LCD and DVD are now out of the box.  I just realized that I won’t be taking all my books with me.  The unit just can’t hold that many books.  So my dad agreed to adopt them and give them a new home.  Actually, some of my clothes won’t be coming with me, too.  And shoes and bags.  That’s the problem with a small place.  You can’t have too many things.  But it’s also a good thing.  It would prevent unnecessary shopping resulting to more savings.  Yey.  I think that’s good news.

Anyhow, at least there were two things accomplished last week.
