What I need is wooden blinds that would match the interior of my home. The ones with dark wood tone. There are many colours to choose from but dark tones seem to evoke certain elegance. It looks modern yet elegant. Anyway, if you’re looking for wooden blinds or any type of blinds, you may check out Wooden Blinds Direct. The website is wooden-blinds-direct.co.uk.

I’m a mom and I worry about a lot of things. I have things inside my head that don’t normally occur in other people’s head. And the last thing I need to worry about is a pair of shoes. I go for price and sometimes style and durability. And of course, I always go for comfort. I think the best pair of shoes is one that won’t give your feet the discomfort and ache that no one wants. That’s why Beautifeel Shoes are heaven sent for moms like me and I guess for every woman in the planet. They are made of quality materials with comfort and beauty in mind. Every woman should have a pair if not more than one. And one more brand I particularly love is Xsensible Shoes that are made of genuine stretchable leathe. It moves as your feet move. It feels like second skin. I tell you the leather feels wonderful and you know how leather smells like? It’s like a high end branded leather bag that no woman can part with. Do you know what I’m saying? Those brands may cause more but in the long run, you may be saving more because those shoes would surely last a long time if not forever.

I guess I’m happy with the color choice for my granite top. I mean, how can you go wrong with black? And I do think it’s easier to clean and maintain than with a light colored one. In any case, granite counter top is your best bet when trying to decide whether to go for marble or tiles. Why go for granite? For one, it’s a natural stone. Granite is an extremely durable and hard material that will not crack, get scratches or blister under normal circumstances. And granite is available in hundreds of colors, brown, beige and black being the more popular ones. That’s why homeowners, including interior designers and architects, love granite for its versatility and durability.

Although granite can be more expensive than other kitchen top materials, home owners still choose it. Granite has been a favorite among upscale homeowners who want elegance in their homes. For some, they even believe that it somehow increases the value of their homes. By the way, Tacoma granite counter tops should be your first choice especially if you live in the Seattle and Everett area. The company has been servicing that area for many years now. They fabricate granite including marble and quartz for counter tops, fireplace mantels, and even vanities.

My sister lost one of her Lanyards again. And this time a key came with it. She’s been looking for it all morning yesterday but to no avail. I asked which was more important–the key or the lanyard. Of course, she answered that the key was more important because it’s the key to the back door of their house. So now she has to replace the door knob again. I told her if she purchased one of those beautifully crafted Beaded Lanyards with semi-precious stones, the chances of her losing another item would be slim to none. She would probably take good care of the lanyards and everything attached to it. Anyway, I might give her one if she keeps on losing things. And you know what, I might give everyone close to me a beaded lanyard. They are great gifts–unique and truly charming. They are also perfect and truly awesome idea for Fundraisers. A Fundraising Jewelry? The fundraiser can also include items like bracelets, pins, I.D. necklaces, eyewear holders, and anklets. I’m sure if these items are for sale in fundraisers, it would raise a lot of money and raise awarenes and help about the cause by making customized jewelry. Ok, I will suggest this to my sister who has been working with the government on various projects. I just hope she does lose the fundrasing items.

I wanted my house to look like a model home. But as finances are tight right now, that wish would have to take a back seat. But I came across an article in one magazine saying that your house need not be perfectly clean, coordinated, or photoshoot-ready. The article suggested that each room only needs a well-lit chair to sit and read, a large flat workspace for projects and eating, and a comfy spot to rest. But those too, are quite hard for me to achieve especially when I don’t even have a dining set yet. Too bad.

I can still remember how shy I was as a kid. Whenever there was a party at our house, I would normally go down for a bit but most of the time, I would just stay in my room and watch television. I would content myself with peeking from my half-closed door and see people enjoying themselves. And I have never been known to throw out my own birthday parties, let alone have one. Almost all my birthdays were intimate. Only my family and a few chosen friends were allowed to attend. But now that I have kids of my own, it’s a totally different story. I love organizing parties for my kids. I would put together a planning claendar with the menu, a guest list, party invitations and few activities to go with the theme of the party. It’s really fun especially when I see my kids happy and ecstatic with the outcome. I can’t help but be proud of myself. And what I’d really like to do next time is to make my son’s graduation invitation and personalize it. I would put his baby photos and other cute ones for all his friends and relatives to see. I’m pretty sure he’ll like it. Or not. But I’ll see to it that the finished product is fun and classy at the same time. Well, it won’t be long. Two years from now and he’ll be graduating from College. I can’t believe that he’s all grown and about to go from student to a professional. By the way, if you’re into personalizing party invitations, you might find vistaprint.ca helpful. They offer full color printing with plenty of design templates to choose from. And what I like about it is you could add your images to the design. The price range is quite reasonable, too.

The place should be finished by Saturday next week. I met with the contractor today and that’s what he promised me. It’s perfect since school would be over by then and I could totally focus on moving. Plus I asked for a 2-week vacation from MG’s therapy center so she and I could really rest and not think about ABC’s, 123 and gross motor skills for a change. Although that’s not advisable in MG’s case because she might regress but I think I owe my kid that. To let her be a normal kid for just two weeks. I know it wouldn’t hurt.

Anyway, I took photos of the mirror and sofa bed I bought last week. These two were on sale. Imagine my luck, I wasn’t actually looking for sale items. These two just caught my eye because of the color and style. It was a bonus that they were on sale. I saved a lot of money in the process.
