I’m a mom living with my two kids, Chollo and MG in an apartment at the back of one of the largest malls in the Philippines.  We wound up here after leaving Manila two years ago.  Just a year ago, I was lucky enough to be offered to buy our small but very cozy condo unit in south QC here in Metro Manila.  Thus, the title of this blog.  Our future address.  1716 South…

We had been moving around quite a lot and it was a huge relief to finally get our own place after years in different rentals.Upon writing this, we are still renting an apartment.  The rent is fair enough and the couple who rented it to us are friends of mine.  A couple months more and we would be in the process of moving in to our new unit.

And I really love the place.  It’s so convenient.  It has Starbucks on the ground floor, a grocery in the basement and a myriad of restaurants and outlets on four floorsYes, it’s small and yes, it has some very strange floor plan but the location is great (couldn’t think of a place in Metro Manila I’d rather live) and the feeling of owning our own home is very comforting. My kids and I will have many happy happy days there!

I have lots of plans for the place and I will be blogging about the process here. Every now and then I will throw in a post about design, furniture, photography and other art trends because those are some of my passions.
